A Precision Bass, only smaller
A rock ‘n’ roll icon, the original P Design was inspired by the Fender Stratocaster’s contoured double-horn body. The Mini Precision Bass keeps the shape but shrinks it down to nearly three-quarters of its original size, perfect for younger players. Beyond that, it’s a P through and through, decked out in chrome knobs, a rock-solid hardtail bridge, and a vintage-style single-ply pickguard, so there’s no mistaking its heritage.
Timeless split single-coil tone
A workhorse in the studio and on the stage, the P Bass has a legendary tone, owing to its split single-coil pickup design. The pint-sized Mini Precision Bass pumps out that big classic sound — fat low-end, punchy mids, and crisp highs. With a single volume knob and single tone knob, the Mini Precision Bass has plenty of tonal variation, whether you want to stand out from the band or tuck in behind the drummer and help hold down the groove.
Comfy neck for kiddo-sized hands
The Mini Precision Bass’s diminutive neck measures in at 28.6-inches, nearly two inches shorter than a typical short-scale bass. And, featuring a comfortable “C” shape profile and satin urethane finish, it’s incredibly easy to move around on — especially for smaller hands. Capped with lively laurel fingerboard decorated with pearloid dot inlays, the Mini Precision bass’s neck is as sharp-looking as it is great-sounding.
