Body and neck
The Cort Earth 60 is an acoustic guitar that takes its shape from the Dreadnought concept. The soundboard is made of solid spruce, while the sides and back of the instrument are made of mahogany, a time-honoured combination. The neck is also made of mahogany, and rosewood was used for the fingerboard, which is also used for the headstock. The zero fret has a width of 43 mm, the menusure corresponds to 643 mm. The neck can be adjusted with its bracing, the positions on the fingerboard are marked with a white tab, there is a black and white circular rosette around the soundhole and the body has an ivory-coloured binding. The finish is natural matt (Natural Satin colour).
Hardware
The tuning machines are of the Die-Cast type in chrome finish. The bow is specially shaped to optimally transmit the vibrations of the strings to the body, hold the tuning firmly and allow the most comfortable playing. The body is covered with a pickguard whose material imitates tortoiseshell. The instrument is already factory strung with D'Addario EXP11 80/20 Bronze Light strings The Cort Earth 60 is a relatively simple instrument, but it accomplishes everything you would expect from it and more. With this guitar, you'll get perfect sound and quality without ever having to let your wallet run wild.
